Christmas Appeal
First of all, I’d like to thank those of you who’ve become premium subscribers to the Climate Skeptic. It’s thanks to you – and all those who’ve donated to the Daily Sceptic – that we can afford to pay our regular contributors, Chris Morrison, Ben Pile, Tilak Doshi and Paul Homewood.
The Climate Skeptic is an off-shoot of the Daily Sceptic, where we also publish those writers, as well as many others, and they’re both produced by the same four-man editorial team. Donations from readers and payments from premium subscribers are more or less our only source of revenue. Yes, the Daily Sceptic averages 1.25 million page views a month, which is more than the New Statesman, the Morning Star and Novara Media combined. But thanks to the censorious activities of companies like NewsGuard – whose latest efforts to demonetise us Will Jones wrote about here – we struggle to attract any advertising. Newsguard is one of the tentacles of what Sarah Rogers, Trump’s Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, calls “the global censorship-industrial complex”. Climate contrarian content is singled out by organisations like Newsguard as an example of mis- and disinformation, when, of course, it’s nothing of the kind. Meanwhile, green billionaires are only too happy to pay for the tsunami of alarmist propaganda being pumped out by the mainstream media. So please become a premium subsciber to this Substack. It’s the only way we can continue to challenge climate alarmism.
In its short life, the Climate Skeptic has already attracted 3,882 subscribers, 171 of whom are premium subscribers. Please do think about becoming a premium subscriber if you’re not one of those 171 people. For as little as £4/month or £38/year, you’ll be able to read all of the premium content – and you can read it before it appears behind a paywall in the Daily Sceptic. If just 5% of those of you who’ve subscribed become premium subscribers, our projected annualised revenue will double to $20,000 and that will enable me to give our regular contributors a 25% pay rise.
Once again, a big thank you to all of you who’ve already become premium subscribers. Merry Christmas. Normal service will resume on Boxing Day.

“Guardian is eight times more climate alarmist than other newspapers, study finds” – A study has found that “catastrophic language” on climate appears eight times more often in Guardian articles than in other news media – and it’s getting everybody down. Wasn’t this obvious? asks Ben Pile.
