Why are renewables the fastest growing energy sector?

Government subsidies?

Can you run the numbers? Don’t forget to include the costs from accruing anthropogenic climate change.

I can, inasmuch I am capable of the basic mathematics and accounting involved - although it's a very convoluted setup. Your insinuation that I should also account for bizarre, anthropocentric, doom-fantasies makes me suspect that my labours would be wasted in your case.

Is your science denial driven by ideology, ignorance, or both?

There is no insinuation anywhere in my comment. I am quite blatantly asking for your accounting that includes the effects of anthropogenic global warming, most of which are occurring at rates similar to or faster than those predicted.

Great roundup, the hybrid pedestrain death rate finding is wild but makes total sense once you think about it. Quiet engines mean less auditory warning for pedestrians who've spent their entire lives learning to listen for cars. I drove a Prius for like two years and definitley noticed people stepping into intersections way more often becuase they literally couldn't hear me coming. The unintended consequences of "green" tech keep piling up.
