An excellent summary of forty years of hysteria perpetrated by those who ideologically obsessed with wealth redistribution.

But why is the big question? Why is Milibrain pushing his agenda so zealously, is it because of money or simply because he's completely lost the plot?

Because of two things:

1. No-one likes to admit they were suckered in by charlatans.

2. It involves both the suckers and the charlatans reeling in big bucks of someone else's money. It's a gravy train.

Today’s revelations in many of the bought and paid for media, but particularly the Guardian that “ Net Zero is a £100 Billion industry and climbing “ is either a whoops we’ve said the quiet bit out loud or a direct boast they are conning the public and getting away with it!!

Until the public wakes up and revolt they will continue to take the piss!!🤷🏻‍♂️

Little did I think in the 1990s when I started campaigning against the climate change hoax that some thirty years later, the climate movement in its modern Net Zero form would be the primary cause of the country’s horrendous and worsening deindustrialisation and impoverishment, all to no useful environmental purpose. More than that, Net Zero is emblematic of the abhorrent modern trend of totally unjustified and unmandated political overreach exercised by the Uniparty political class to control and subjugate the people they are supposed to serve.

I posted a debunking of the climate change hoax a couple of years ago and every word of it still holds true (I’ve never received any rebuttal) and is now even more relevant: https://metatron.substack.com/p/debunking-the-climate-change-hoax.

Andrew’s disparagement of the climate movement as “a cult” is helpful, but I don’t think it goes far enough. Individuals like journalist George Monbiot or politician Nicola Sturgeon could be described as climate cultists but they are mere puppets to the real leaders. These leaders must operate above the level of the political parties, otherwise we wouldn’t have Con/Lab/Lib Dem/SNP/Green Uniparty politicians and their counterparts abroad operating in globally co-ordinated lockstep.

I believe the main driver of the climate cult (and other political oppressions) is the British deep state. The leaders of this murky organisation are the ruthless authoritarians who somehow (networking via such bodies as the WEF, Bilderberg, Trilateral Commission, Chatham House, Club of Rome, who knows what … ) manage to build key support from political and corporate organisations and NGOs to drive the movement forward through compliant lower-level cult minions who perhaps use Orwell’s technique of doublethink to persuade themselves that the malign agendas they are pushing through are justified. Some will be motivated by the money to be made, or lost if they don’t comply. Some will simply have swallowed the establishment’s false propaganda, hook line and sinker.

For further details and to keep this comment short, I’ll link to a mini-essay on this deep state theme I recently piggy-backed under an online post by David Turver: https://davidturver.substack.com/p/drill-baby-drill-to-drive-growth-productivity?r=8t7a0&utm_campaign=comment-list-share-cta&utm_medium=web&comments=true&commentId=260364001.

I'm 74 and my background is in Engineering. 15 or 20 years ago I was fully on board with the global warming hoax. After all, my background was in science and these were scientists. I trusted them. I started to change my mind when it was clear that many of their predictions of catastrophe were clearly shown to be false. There are now websites which lists many of these false predictions. An ice free arctic, London and New York flooded, no more snow in England. And it wasn't just politicians and activists it was so called climate scientists who should have known better. That was my "Hang on a minute" moment.

The thing is, I remember when I was growing up, in the 70's, the end of the world fear was The New Ice Age. No mention of any kind of warming whatsoever, just freezing to death. Sounded pretty miserable, TBH.

A major curiosity of all this is that the climate cult has only taken hold in the West, i.e. Western Europe and the Anglosphere (although at least for now it's lost its grip in the US). In utter contrast, the rest of the world - occasionally paying lip service to the cult - is obviously unconcerned about it and, already the source of about 70% of global emissions (80% including the US), continues to prioritise economic growth and energy security over emission reduction. A remarkable divergence.

Brilliant, a complete breakdown of the cult of Nut Zero.

I struggle to understand why some of my friends, who claim to be intelligent - but I am starting to doubt it - are completely taken in by the belief that we are all doomed unless we spend a fortune on reversing progress and going back to the dark ages - literally, while swanning around in their EVs, while I potter around in the old diesel car I was encouraged to buy by Gordon Brown - to save the planet, but is now the incarnation of evil.
